Did you catch my little car sex teaser last week? Sticking with the same (yet untitled) work-in-progress, I’m going to back it up a notch. Winter is harsh and cold this time of year in my neck of the woods so I’ve been daydreaming a lot about warm summer nights on the beach. Daydreaming often leads to writing.
What about a warm summer night with a guy who is just too hot to handle?
Now we’re talking…
How could she be so bold to lure this man out into the darkness? But it wasn’t fear that she felt. Her panties dampened at the mere thought of him having his way with her even though she somehow knew that she could trust him not to put a hand on her unless she’d asked for it.
Begged for it.
Breathless, she started walking toward the door knowing he would follow.
“It’s a beautiful evening,” he said, “Would you like to go for a walk?”
“That would be nice,” she said still trying to catch her breath and clean her thoughts.
He put out his hand for her as she started walking, for which she was grateful because the drinks had definitely taken effect, leaving her to sway a little as she moved. She leaned against his arm lightly as he lead her. Probably this evening would end with Mike dropping her off at a hotel, making sure she was safe as she checked in, and then telling her how nice it was to meet her and oh yeah, good luck with the boyfriend. See you later, alligator. All the same, it gave Abigail a little thrill to imagine luring him into her room, to think that within the next hour, she and Mike would be tangled in the sheets engaged in some sort of sordid affair, just another notch in his belt. She’d never done such a crazy and reckless thing before. What would it be like, she wondered.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked interrupting her thoughts just as she was imaging opening his jeans. She cleared her throat and giggled nervously.
“Nothing really. Just enjoying the night.”
They walked in silence toward the beach. Wherever Mike was leading her, she realized that they were almost completely alone. It obviously wasn’t an area that was a magnet to tourists. The full moon shone brightly down over them giving the world a pale, blue glow. It was always so strange to her how in darkness, every small sound seemed amplified including the rush of waves washing over the sand. She was very much in tune with his gentle exhale when Mike stopped along the water’s edge just to the point that water licked his toes. Abigail did the same, kicking of her shoes so that she could feel the sand. They made small talk about the town, about the beach, about how many years Abigail had come here and never found anything so simple and yet so amazing. Was it because this place itself was magical or was it something about the company that she shared? She knew one thing for certain, Kent never made her body feel so alive just by standing next to her.
Mike pulled Abigail close, locking his arms around her waist. She didn’t resist as he lowered his head to press his mouth against hers. She closed her eyes and shut out the world around her, aware only of the joining of their lips and the aching need to feel so much more.
“I’m sorry,” he said pulling away abruptly, “I shouldn’t have done that.”
Maybe he shouldn’t have? But I think he should do a lot more. Don’t you? 😉
